THE ORIGINAL AND BEST... Well well well, seems The Prodigy finally got that album out, and what a disappointment it seems to be. Well I don't know really, I haven't listened to it yet, but the reviews aren't good.

(Update: I have now listened to it. It's a Prodigy Album. What were you expecting?)

Tetsubo came together in the late 90's as a bunch of friends and relatives bringing their own individual styles to the melting pot, but after some personnel shuffles settled into a mixture of Goth, Industrial, Metal and Punk, or GIMP for short.

Anyway, back in June 2000 we made this mini-album called Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned. It was a 5 track CD-R packaged in a coloured jewel case. The few copies we made refused to play on most CD players.

Then we were a bit miffed to hear The Prodigy were working on an album of the same name. We didn't have enough money to sue.

Nevertheless we continued on with a follow-up album proper, "...With Intent" which was to include these tracks and some later recordings, and was to be released by an independent label. Don't ask what happened to the album. Or the label. You really aren't missing much. Trust me.

Then exactly two years later I compiled what studio recordings we had into a full length album, adding some earlier tracks remixed to make fit for human consumption. So far this piece of music history has sold exactly 0 copies.

(Update: it's now sold... oh heck, who am I kidding?)

So what the heck. Four years later, to coincide with the Prodigy release, now seems a good time to give it away for free. Enjoy.
